
On September 14, Shao Genbao, Party Secretary and Director of the Zhejiang Provincial Government’s Shanghai Office, accompanied by Wu Zhifang, Party Committee Member and Office Director, and Li Jing, Director of the Yangtze River Delta Liaison and Cooperation Division, conducted a research visit to the Shanghai Institute of Ceramics (SICCAS), Chinese Academy of Sciences. The delegation was received by Deputy Director Su Liangbi, Mao Chaoliang, Director of the Party Office (Institute Office), Wu Yongqing, Deputy Director of the Science & Technology Industry Division, Researcher Xun Zhiguang from the Research Center for Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering, Li Fei, General Manager of Zhejiang Boson Electronics Co., Ltd., as well as relevant research and administrative staff.
The delegation visited SICCAS’s achievement exhibition hall and watched an introduction video about the institute. Mao Chaoliang highlighted the institute’s significant contributions in meeting national strategic needs, supporting major national engineering applications, and serving key sectors of the national economy. Shao Genbao highly praised the series of achievements made by SICCAS.
During the discussion session, Su Liangbi welcomed the delegation and expressed gratitude for Zhejiang Province’s long-term attention and support. He introduced the history of cooperation between SICCAS and Zhejiang Province and expressed a commitment to further strengthen ties with the Zhejiang Office in Shanghai to promote the implementation of related scientific and technological achievements, contributing to local economic and social development. Wu Yongqing presented a report on “Cooperation between SICCAS and Zhejiang Province,” emphasizing the achievements in local collaboration and technology transfer. Xun Zhiguang and Li Fei introduced the progress of relevant projects being implemented and transformed in Zhejiang Province.
Shao Genbao acknowledged SICCAS’s contributions to Zhejiang’s scientific and technological innovation and shared updates on Zhejiang’s efforts to build three major innovation hubs. He expressed hope for closer cooperation with SICCAS to guide more high-quality projects to Zhejiang for implementation and transformation.
Both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on the next steps for collaboration.
